A growing and highly successful personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join its Dallas office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys managing cases from intake through resolution and wants to be part of a collaborative, high-performing team with strong support staff and excellent earning potential.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of plaintiff personal injury experience handling both pre-suit and litigation matters. This attorney will manage a caseload from initial intake through settlement or trial preparation, working closely with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, medical providers, and expert witnesses.

This position is approximately 80% litigation and 20% pre-suit, with an active caseload of approximately 50–75 litigation files. The attorney will be supported by dedicated paralegals and case managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through resolution
• Draft demands and negotiate directly with insurance adjusters
• Analyze medical records and damages
• Conduct depositions and attend hearings
• Draft and respond to discovery, motions, and legal pleadings
• Develop and execute case strategy
• Work closely with clients throughout the litigation process
• Coordinate with medical experts and other professionals
• Handle a variety of personal injury matters, including:

  • Motor Vehicle Accidents (approximately 60%)

  • Slip and Fall/Premises Liability (approximately 20%)

  • Other Personal Injury Matters (approximately 20%)

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
• 3+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience
• Experience handling both pre-suit and litigation files
• Experience drafting demands and negotiating settlements
• Deposition and motion practice experience
• Strong understanding of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage a busy caseload
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $125,000 – $145,000
• Competitive commission structure
• Monthly participation in pre-suit settlement fee splits
• 7.5% commission on litigation matters successfully resolved
• 30% of attorney fees generated from self-originated cases
