A growing plaintiff personal injury law firm in Charlotte is seeking a Spanish-English Bilingual Personal Injury Attorney to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload, work directly with English- and Spanish-speaking clients, and contribute to a collaborative practice focused on exceptional client advocacy. Key Responsibilities
Manage a personal injury caseload from intake through settlement or resolution.
Provide legal representation to English- and Spanish-speaking clients.
Conduct client consultations and maintain consistent communication throughout each case.
Draft, review, and negotiate settlement demand packages.
Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
Handle lien resolution, subrogation matters, and settlement disbursements.
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and case strategies.
Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances as required.
Supervise paralegals and legal support staff.
Build strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to maximize case outcomes.
Travel periodically for case-related meetings and court appearances.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active North Carolina law license in good standing.
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Minimum 1 year of personal injury law firm experience.
Ability to independently manage a high-volume personal injury caseload.
Experience supervising paralegals or legal support staff.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and case management abilities.
Proven success negotiating personal injury settlements.
Commitment to client advocacy and outstanding service.
Preferred:
Experience handling complex personal injury matters.
Knowledge of lien resolution and subrogation issues.
Trial preparation or courtroom experience.
Experience in a fast-paced plaintiff personal injury practice.
Familiarity with personal injury case management software.
