We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing technologies and methodologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the development and deployment of secure and efficient applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)
- Strong hands-on experience with Venafi (TLS Protect Venafi Platform or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of PKI fundamentals, TLS, mTLS, certificate chains, and keystores (JKS, PKCS12).
- Experience integrating certificates with Azure Key Vault.
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) concepts including namespaces, secrets, ingress, and deployment automation.
- CICD automation experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
- Programming experience with Java (preferred).
- Work Environment - Agile (preferred).
- Positive attitude with cross-team collaboration skills.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)
- Experience with Playwright and Selenium.
- Knowledge in Java, Spring, REST, API, test planning, and automation testing.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)
- Act as a technical SME for application teams adopting automated certificate patterns.
- Provide guidance on certificate design choices (gateway terminated TLS vs application level TLS).
- Help standardize certificate patterns to reduce fragmentation and operational complexity.
