Job Purpose
The Supervisor role is responsible for teaching and directing employees the application of pipeline technologies, as well as implementing testing procedures to ensure optimal pipeline performance. The Supervisor serves hands on as a part of the service team to perform pipeline commissioning, abandonment, and testing.
Duties & Responsibilities
Enforce all Safety programs and policies instituted by management
Direct employees using Company standards and practices for increased performance
Ensure all work complies and/or exceeds Industry Best Practices
Teach proper terminology and applications of pipeline technologies
Develop and prosecute testing procedures working with client personnel to ensure performance
Instruct personnel on adhering to industry standards and Company Policies
Perform pipeline commissioning, abandonment, and testing.
Skills
Relevant qualifying experience in the offshore oil and gas industry
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use PPE.
Capable of performing equipment setup, maintenance, and repair and work order paperwork
Knowledge of safe work practices and leadership responsibilities
Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish
Proven job skills at pipeline commissioning, abandonment, and testing
Expert knowledge of Testing Equipment and Procedures
Qualifications/Requirements
Legal to work in US.
Pass drug and background screens, including DOT required screening.
Minimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Preferred Experience
OSHA 10 Certified.
Physical Demands
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and stand.
Must be able to lift 50 - 80 pounds daily.
Must be able to load, unload, and move large equipment and tools.
Continuous walking, stair climbing, and lifting.
