TradeWorX is currently hiring experienced Pipefitters / Shop Fitters for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established industrial equipment manufacturer in the Pittsburgh area. This role supports the shop fabrication and assembly of industrial kiln and thermal processing systems.

Job Description
Fabricate, fit, and assemble industrial piping systems in a shop environment
Support the build of industrial kiln and thermal processing equipment
Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and P&IDs
Perform accurate pipe fit-ups prior to welding
Work with carbon steel and stainless steel piping
Use standard shop tools and equipment (band saws, grinders, layout tools, pipe threaders)
Collaborate with welders, engineers, and shop leadership to meet production schedules
Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
Must Haves
3+ years of shop-based pipefitting or industrial fitting experience
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
Experience working in an industrial fabrication or manufacturing environment
Comfortable working on custom, engineered-to-order systems
Ability to perform general physical activities common to industrial shop work
Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
