The YMCA is seeking a certified Pilates Reformer Instructor to lead engaging and effective apparatus-based classes for members of all fitness levels. The salary range of this position starts at $ 16.50 hourly. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package for full-time includes a wide range of benefits (medical, dental, life, disability, and more) as well as generous paid time off and free membership. Part-time benefits will vary.
The Pilates Reformer Instructor develops and teaches apparatus classes with the option to take on private clients. Instructors provide safe, effective, and motivating classes for participants to help them achieve their fitness goals.
This position reports to the Health and Wellness Director/ Senior Health and Wellness Coordinator. The instructor works closely with the other Health and Wellness Professionals, supervisor, member services, and building/maintenance staff. The instructor should address members by name and encourage participation in activities. Supervisory titles may change depending on branch.
