Local company located in Tucson, AZ is now hiring for a Picking and Packing Associate.
Job Summary: Responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and packaging products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment. This role ensures customer orders are fulfilled correctly, safely, and on time while maintaining quality standards and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities: • Pick products from inventory according to order tickets, pick lists, or electronic systems. • Pack items securely to prevent damage during shipment. • Verify correct items, quantities, and labeling before shipment. • Prepare packages for shipping, including labeling and documentation. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Report damaged items, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisors. • Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed. • Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse picking or packing experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20-40lbs. Basic math and counting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work overtime or flexible schedules if required.
