Join Our Neurosurgery Team in Pueblo, Colorado!
The Neurosurgery group in Pueblo, Colorado, is excited to welcome a Board-Eligible or Board Certified Neurosurgeon to their team. This facility is committed to world-class care, providing innovative solutions to improve patient lives with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration. With a Trauma Level of 3, our facility is poised in a supportive community that offers the unique opportunity to develop a strong elective spine practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary patient care in an inpatient and outpatient practice setting.
- Participate in clinic for 2 days, perform surgeries in the OR for 2 days, and utilize 1 flex day.
- Manage an average patient load of 8 to 12 patients per day, along with support from 3-4 Physician Assistants.
- Handle ER call for 7 days a month which includes imaging review from home.
- Be available for one weekend of call coverage per month.
- Collaborate with a collegial team of one other Neurosurgeon and four experienced APPs.
- Utilize advanced technology and neuro-navigation tools in clinical practice.
- Maintain thorough medical documentation using the EPIC EMR system.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Neurosurgery by the ABNS.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Commitment to improving lives through surgical excellence and patient care.
- A team player focused on exceeding patient expectations.
- Willingness to be engaged in continuous medical education and community involvement.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
