About the Position
Coordinate each component of the Medical Department and direct implementation of their services to achieve and maintain the highest possible degree of good physical and mental health for people and respite admissions of the facility; provide primary care to persons, and comply with facility policy and procedures through evaluating and assessing person's illness/injuries and documents appropriately; ensure that doctor's orders are carried out appropriately and maintain effective communication with persons, families and members of the health care staff; provide coverage as Unit Provider in absence of Staff Physicians/FNPs; provide on-call services as assigned on nights and weekends; responsible for the overall coordination of the following services: Medical Services, Clinic Services, Physician Services, Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy Department, Secretarial Services and Housekeeping Aide/Janitorial Services. Will report directly to Agency Director.
