Physician - Internal Medicine - Rheumatology

Job Details:

• Provide rheumatology services with ability to float between 2 locations
• 
  
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
• 
  
• See approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine - Rheumatology
• 
  
• Fellowship training in rheumatology required
• 
  
• BLS certification required
• 
  
• Experience with arthrocentesis and joint/soft tissue injections required
• 
  
• Preferred skills include tissue biopsy, microscopic specimen evaluation, arthroscopy, diagnostic/therapeutic taps, thoracentesis, bone mineral density studies, management of vascular access devices, familiarity with intravenous therapies, EMG, and NCV
• 
  
• Locum tenens assignment with estimated 21-day credentialing timeframe
