Physician - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
- Provide radiation oncology services including clinic operations and inpatient consultations
- Participate in tumor board meetings and chart rounds
- Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call requirements
- Full-time coverage position treating adult patient population
- Manage treatment volumes averaging 14 patients daily
- Handle approximately 8 consults per week and 20 follow-up appointments
- Perform special procedures including lung SBRT
- Work in clinic and hospital settings
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
- Board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology required
- PA license or IMLC LOQ required
- DEA registration required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
Facility:
This community hospital features a 100-bed facility with a comprehensive Cancer Center that includes hematology/oncology services, infusion services, and palliative medicine all located at the same site. The radiation oncology department is off-site and hospital-based, supported by experienced staff including oncology certified RNs, physician access assistants, dieticians, social workers, financial counselors, and 4 radiation therapists with an average of over 25 years of experience each.
