Full-Time | Part-Time | Collaborative | Evaluation-Based Options Available

We are seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to join a growing behavioral health team serving long-term care and skilled nursing facilities in the Cincinnati area.

This opportunity offers flexible engagement options based on your availability and interests — whether you are seeking a full clinical role, a collaborative physician arrangement, or focused expert evaluation work.

Position OptionsOption 1: Full-Time or Part-Time Psychiatrist
  • Provide psychiatric care to patients in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities
  • Conduct evaluations, medication management, and follow-up visits
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Support two experienced Nurse Practitioners clinically
Option 2: Collaborative Physician (Oversight Role)
  • Serve as the collaborative physician for two Psychiatric NPs
  • Provide chart review, case consultation, and clinical guidance
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards
  • Limited time commitment; flexible structure

Must hold an active Ohio medical license. Cincinnati-area preference.

Option 3: Expert Evaluations Only
  • Conduct psychiatric expert evaluations within long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
  • Provide documentation and clinical recommendations
  • No ongoing medication management required
  • Flexible scheduling

For evaluation-only role, physician must be physically located in the Cincinnati area.

Responsibilities (Depending on Engagement Model)
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Diagnose and manage mental health conditions in geriatric populations
  • Provide medication management when applicable
  • Collaborate with NPs, nursing staff, and facility leadership
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
  • Support quality improvement and regulatory standards
Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license
  • DEA registration (if providing medication management)
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric psychiatry preferred
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
