Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Director of Operations, the Physician Practice Coordinator oversees and facilitates the daily operations of low volume specialty practices that do not require a Practice Manager. S/he works closely with the Sr. Director to set goals and implement processes to improve office operations. The Physician Practice Coordinator is responsible for managing day to day operational needs including staffing, A/R, A/P, the front office and patient flow. S/he supervises the administrative support staff, Medical Assistants, and is a resource for the Physician and Mid-Level Practitioner staff. S/he will continuously review existing practice operations with a view towards enhancing quality, efficiency, innovation, patient satisfaction, and cost reduction. The Physician Practice Coordinator also handles report preparation and analysis of physician practices for the Sr. Director, serves as an Epic super user and a trainer for all practice management systems.
