About the Opportunity
Hawai'i Pacific Health is seeking a dedicated per-diem Pediatric Physiatrist to join our team on the island of O'ahu , to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care.
What You'll Do:
Provide inpatient and outpatient care for children with a broad range of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and developmental conditions, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other functional impairments
Perform comprehensive rehabilitation evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to optimize function, mobility, and quality of life
Participate in inpatient consult services and shared call coverage as assigned
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatric subspecialists, therapists (PT/OT/SLP), social workers, and other allied health professionals
Perform chemo denervation procedures for management of hypertonia including botulinum toxin injections and phenol chemo neurolysis.

MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in the specialty area of practice
Eligible to obtain a medical license in the State of Hawaii

About Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children
Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i's only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawaii's leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawaii and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care.
