Our organization is looking to recruit a dedicated and skilled Director of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology to guide and manage the clinical and strategic aspects of our pediatric hematology and oncology program, while also engaging in active patient care. This position presents a remarkable chance to blend innovative leadership with direct involvement in patient treatment.

Practice HighlightsLeadership & Program Oversight:
  • Act as the Medical Director for the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Program, offering both strategic and clinical guidance to enhance program objectives and quality benchmarks.

  • Supervise the creation and execution of clinical protocols.

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in hematology/oncology to improve program efficiency and patient outcomes.

  • Play a role in the strategic planning and expansion of the pediatric hematology/oncology program.

  • Represent the program at institutional and external gatherings, conferences, and collaborative projects.

Clinical Practice:
  • Deliver direct patient care with a focus on pediatric hematology/oncology.

  • Maintain an active clinical schedule for both outpatient and inpatient settings, balancing responsibilities with leadership duties.

  • Engage in multidisciplinary case discussions, tumor boards, and clinical rounds.

  • Provide support and mentorship to advanced practice providers, junior physicians, and APCs in clinical environments.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO with board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

  • Eligibility for medical licensure in California.

  • Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

  • A minimum of 5 years of post-fellowship clinical and/or leadership experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership in clinical program development, quality enhancement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

  • A strong dedication to medicine, clinical research, and education.
