Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI has an excellent opportunity for a Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist. The new provider will be an innovative, collaborative professional who is clinically focused and passionate about improving the outcomes of children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of oncologic and hematologic disorders.

This busy inpatient and outpatient practice is known for providing excellent clinical care. The practice is further distinguished academically by a full Children's Oncology Group (COG) affiliation, a federally funded comprehensive hemophilia treatment center, known as the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Coagulation Disorders Program, and our Haworth Innovative Therapeutics Clinic which offers additional research opportunities through clinical trials and consortium affiliations. The practice also has a robust Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy program and hosts other specialty clinics including sickle cell, neuro-oncology, and cancer survivorship.

Teaching opportunities exist with medical students, residents, and within the practice's own fully accredited fellowship program. Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is the primary academic affiliate of Michigan State University and appointments are available for qualifying candidates. Support for clinical research is also available.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
  • Education - Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Current Medical license for the state of Michigan
  • Current Federal Narcotics Licenses
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
