    Opportunity:

    Physician - Medical Oncology


    Job Details:

    • Outpatient infusion and oncology clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

    • 6-month contract with option to extend; full-time equivalent highly preferred

    • Onsite coverage preferred with one provider throughout contract; some telehealth coverage open for discussion

    • See approximately 13-20 patients per day

    • Supported by LPN, RN, and APP support being added

    • Scope of practice includes full-spectrum medical oncology and hematology; no radiation

    • Treat broad outpatient oncology and hematology population including solid tumor cancers and hematologic conditions

    • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oncology supportive therapies

    • Manage new patient consults, diagnosis, treatment planning, chemotherapy oversight, and ongoing disease management

    • Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, radiation oncology partners, and primary care providers

    • Access to infusion clinic, imaging, nuclear medicine, PET scan, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and in-house lab for blood draws

    • Infusion center includes 9 chairs, 2 private infusion treatment rooms, and 2 fast track triage rooms

    • Access to clinical trials through MMCORC and NCI-supported research programs

    • Palliative care and genetic counseling available via telehealth

    • Integrated support services including financial counseling, behavioral health, survivorship care, and rehabilitation services

    • Charting completion expected within 24 hours

    • MN License or IMLC required
