Physician - Oncology
Job Details:
- Provide medical oncology coverage in a free-standing cancer center setting
- Work 4 weeks per month with 4 days of availability each week
- Minimum 6-month initial contract commitment required
- Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
- Practice composition: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology
- Average 25 outpatients per day and 20 inpatient rounds per day
- Work with a team of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers
- No call responsibilities during locum period
- Participate in tumor board meetings
- Manage bone marrow transplant patients
- Order tests, imaging, and prescribe medications
- Utilize EPIC documentation system
- Board certification in Hematology Oncology required
- Active SC license or IMLC required
- BLS and DEA certification required
