The Physician Office Manager operates the Physician Practice under the supervision of the Practice Manager.
This position is a working manager position. Hours are M-F 12p-8p, Saturday and Sunday 9a-5p, Holidays 9a-5p. One weekend per month required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- LPN or Medical Assistant Degree Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED Required
SKILLS:
- Ability to work independently and with groups.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Annual CPR recertification
- Ability to operate office equipment: computer, printers, fax machine, copy machine, telephone
- Good knowledge of medical terminology
- Use of correct terminology, spelling and grammar in documentation.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with various healthcare professionals, patients, families, and employees.
