    Requirements

    • Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurosurgery
    • Fellowship training in spine surgery preferred
    • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
    • Ability to manage high surgical volume and complex spine cases
    • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
    • Eligible to work in the United States

    Duties & Responsibilities

    A typical day may include:

    • Performing spine surgeries at Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital (103-bed) and Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital (537-bed, Level I trauma center)
    • Participating in multidisciplinary care for complex neurosurgical and spine patients
    • Collaborating with PAs, RNs, and other support staff to provide excellent patient care
    • Utilizing state-of-the-art technology including O-Arm, Leica microscopes, stealth navigation, and CyberKnife
    • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and clinical trials related to spine devices
    • Supporting a culture of camaraderie and mentorship within the neurosurgery team

    Practice Support:

    • 5 PAs take first call
    • 3 RNs assist with patient calls and wound care
    • Expected surgical cases: 150 in year one, ~300 once fully established
