The Physician Talent Management Team at Emory Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Physician Liaison to support and enhance our physician recruitment efforts. This role is instrumental in delivering a highly personalized, best-in-class candidate experience while strengthening community partnerships and supporting strategic growth initiatives across the organization.

The Physician Liaison supports physician recruitment initiatives by enhancing candidate experience, strengthening community partnerships, and providing market intelligence that supports physician recruitment efforts across Emory Healthcare. This role partners with physician recruiters, service line leaders, and internal stakeholders to improve recruitment processes, coordinate high-touch candidate experiences, develop recruitment materials, and provide market insights that support physician attraction and onboarding efforts. The position plays a key role in ensuring a seamless physician recruitment experience while supporting long-term physician growth initiatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate Experience & Recruitment Support:
- Assist with facilitating enhancements and streamlining the physician recruitment process to improve candidate experience across the organization.
- Coordinate and support physician candidate interviews, site visits, and recruitment logistics to ensure a high-touch and personalized experience.
- Develop a functional knowledge of Emory locations and surrounding communities to effectively communicate market highlights and relocation benefits to physician candidates.
- Produce candidate-facing materials that support physician recruitment efforts and improve candidate engagement.
- Relationship Management & Community Partnerships: Establish and foster relationships with community and corporate partners, including schools, real estate professionals, athletic organizations, venues, and other organizations that support physician recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing and physician recruitment teams, to strengthen outreach efforts and improve recruitment initiatives.
- Support physician onboarding efforts by assisting with relationship-building initiatives that improve physician transition and integration into the organization.
- Market Research, Reporting & Analytics: Provide recruiters and service line leaders with physician market intelligence using internal and external sources.
- Compile physician growth trends, labor market insights, and other relevant reports that support planning discussions.
- Create dashboards, presentations, pivot tables, charts, and recruitment materials using Excel, Power BI, Canva, or similar tools.
- Support workforce planning discussions through reporting and analytical insights.
- Business Development Support: Collaborate with business development teams to support referral pattern development and physician onboarding efforts.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve physician growth and market expansion efforts.
- Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Assist with developing enterprise-wide tools, resources, and best practices that improve physician recruitment operations.
- Support process improvement efforts that enhance operational efficiency and recruitment effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities:
- Required Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create professional presentations, reports, and recruitment materials
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools such as Power BI Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and leadership levels
- Strong customer service and candidate experience orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with physician candidates
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), Business Administration (MBA), or related field
- Experience supporting physician recruitment or provider relations initiatives
- Experience using physician workforce data, market analytics tools, or recruitment reporting systems
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, CRM platforms, or applicant tracking systems
- Knowledge of physician onboarding processes and provider referral networks
- Experience creating executive presentations and recruitment marketing materials
