Opportunity:

Physician - Radiology Interventional

Job Details:

• Provide interventional radiology coverage 2 weeks per month
• 
  
• Perform 6-10 procedures per day with varying patient population and age groups
• 
  
• Work in imaging department with procedure areas and dedicated workstation space
• 
  
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation
• 
  
• Perform special procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, line placement and removal, biopsies, abscess drainage, lumbar punctures, and myelograms
• 
  
• Work with support staff including nurses, techs, and RRA
• 
  
• Interventional radiology skills required with diagnostic reading capabilities preferred
• 
  
• Board certification and PA licensure required
• 
  
• DEA registration required
• 
  
• IR Fellowship preferred or significant interventional radiology training and experience considered

This is a 76-bed hospital facility featuring a comprehensive imaging department. The hospital provides interventional radiology services through dedicated procedure areas rather than a traditional IR suite, offering physicians their own workstation space for optimal workflow. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology to support various interventional procedures and diagnostic imaging needs.
