Position Title: Physician Infectious Disease

Location: Memphis, TN 38103

Compensation: $290,000 - $320,000 base salary plus productivity bonuses $314k - $464K

Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift, No Nights or Weekends

Setting: Outpatient Clinic

 

Facility Overview

A multi-specialty outpatient healthcare center and wellness clinic focused on providing comprehensive infectious disease and primary care services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

 

Position Summary / Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient infectious disease and primary care services for chronic and acute medical conditions

• Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 14–18 patients in an outpatient setting

• Complete patient documentation, billing, and follow-up within required timeframes

• Collaborate with nursing staff, care coordinators, and administrative teams to support quality patient care

• Review laboratory results, imaging reports, and consultant recommendations promptly

• Supervise and support mid-level providers as required

• Participate in after-hours on-call coverage as assigned

• Maintain required certifications and compliance standards

 

Requirements

• MD or DO with active state medical license

• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing License

• Minimum of 2 years of infectious disease physician experience required

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine background required

• Prior outpatient primary care diagnostic experience required

• Comfortable managing 14–18 patients per day

• Current CPR/BLS certification required

• Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
