What You’ll Do
- Provide 24-hour in-house OB Hospitalist coverage within a maternal-fetal medicine–led practice environment
- Manage OB triage for unassigned patients and requests from private physicians
- Respond to and manage MFM patient transports (approximately 5–6 per month)
- Conduct inpatient rounding, including postpartum patients, and participate in shared rounding for antepartum patients
- Assist in cesarean sections (generally 0–3 cases on average; assist in ~1–2 cases)
- Perform gynecologic emergency department evaluations for unassigned patients
- Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary, high-acuity obstetric setting supported by NICU and 24-hour anesthesia/neonatology/pediatric coverage
What You Need
Required- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB-GYN
- Ability to provide 24-hour in-house coverage as scheduled for the role
- Residency within the immediate local area (per role requirements); relocation may be required)
Preferred- Experience working in high-acuity obstetrics and/or with maternal-fetal medicine teams (as applicable)
