City of Hope Chicago Zion IL as part of our expanding focus on Hematologic Malignancies and support of the Stem Cell Transplant Program is seeking a HematopathologistSurgical Pathologist who is highly qualified and Board-Certified to meet the growing needs of our expanding Department of Pathology.

Position Highlights ----------------

  • Clinical responsibilities include diagnostic services to support the clinical care of patients with hematological malignancies and general surgical pathology and clinical interpretations.
  • Join a team of 3 Pathologists plus a multidisciplinary team of physicians and scientists.
  • The Zion site is home to an established adult hematologic malignancy and stem cell transplant practice with state-of-the-art technology and an experienced team.
  • It is accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy FACT and is a member of the National Marrow Donor Program NMDP.

Requirements -------------

Applicants must have an MD or equivalent medical degree and possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Illinois medical license. Board Certification in Anatomic Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology is required. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience in Hematopathology and Surgical Pathology.
