Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient locum coverage for scheduled dates including July, August, October, November, and December
• 
  
• Work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with call coverage every night from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM including weekends
• 
  
• No 24-hour call shifts required
• 
  
• See approximately 13-14 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• ERCP procedures required and EUS preferred
• 
  
• Must be willing to request privileges for procedures on pediatric patients 13 years and older and over 65 kg
• 
  
• Board certification required with fellowship training
• 
  
• ACLS and BLS certifications required through American Heart Association
• 
  
• Level 2 trauma facility experience
• 
  
• Upper GI endoscopy with various procedures required including biopsy, foreign body removal, and cautery
• 
  
• Diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP procedures required
• 
  
• Lower GI endoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision required
• 
  
• Esophageal procedures and small bowel biopsy required
• 
  
• Flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy preferred
• 
  
• Endoscopic ultrasound experience preferred
