Pasco/Pinellas, County, Florida - Primary Care Physician Job – Skilled Nursing Facilities

  • Established physician owned primary care group seeking to add a board certified or truly board eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to Work at skilled nursing facilities in Pasco/Pinellas county, Florida region
  • At least 3 years of experience as a physician in adult/Family practice or Internal Medicine with significant adult/geriatric patient experience
  • Current unrestricted Florida state license MD/DO
  • Work Monday-Friday-8am-5pm; averaging 25-30 patients per day
  • Daily call rotation 10:1
  • Focus is on post acute care
  • Working knowledge of basic primary care principles, theory and practice and ability to stay current with recent developments.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and family members.
  • Computer literate Eclinical experience
  • Group is contracted at about 50 SNFs in the Greater Tampa area
  • Geriatric patient population
  • Nurse practitioners work at these SNFs, too, but on opposite days of the physicians
  • No need to supervise the NPs
  • No advanced certifications required (ACLS, BLS, etc.)
  • No visa candidates, unfortunately
