Job DescriptionSeeking primary care doctor who wants to provide the standard of care for a great patient population at our location in the heart of Birmingham, AL. Our office has been here for nearly 40 years and has a great family feel, from the staff to the patients.
We have a full-time onsite phlebotomist, as well as X-ray, EKG, PFTs, Urinalysis, Rapid Strep, Flu, COVID, and A1cC testing. Onsite ultrasounds are available once weekly including ECHO and vascular studies.
Base salary negotiable with bonuses every quarter based on production.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regularly scheduled patient visits, wellness visits, and preventative visits.
- See sick patients for acute visits as needed, within the scope of an outpatient clinic.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions
- Stay up-to-date with medical research and advancements in the field
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (Athena) to document patient information accurately
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Primary Care Physician
- Proficiency in interpreting C-ray, EKG, PFT, and routine lab results
- Knowledge of wellness visits and preventative health care
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active DEA license
- Valid medical license to practice in Alabama
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
