Opportunity:
Physician - Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
- Provide emergency medicine coverage at two facilities with varying shift schedules
- Day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Preference for providers who can cover dates at both facilities
- Must have active PA license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification
- Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Department experience or Emergency Medicine Board Certified
- Clean malpractice history and NPDB preferred
- Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
- Emergency Medicine boarded physicians are exempt from BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certification requirements
- Level 4 trauma facility with 24-hour support services including anesthesia, surgery, laboratory, and radiology
- Handle newborn deliveries in the emergency department
- Family medicine skills preferred including gynecology, obstetrics, and pediatric care
- Experience with prenatal care, deliveries, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescent
