Physician - Emergency Medicine

About the Opportunity Hawaii Pacific Health is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team on the island of Kauai committing to deliver the highest quality health care to our patients.

What Youll Do

• Provide comprehensive emergency care for patients of all ages from infants to adults addressing a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform rapid assessments, stabilize critically ill or injured patients, and initiate life-saving interventions in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage airway emergencies, including intubation and advanced resuscitation techniques.
• Coordinate care for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and other emergent conditions, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Collaborate with specialists and hospital teams to arrange transfers for patients requiring higher-level or specialized care on Oahu.
• Annual Emergency Room visits are 24,000.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.

About Wilcox Medical Center Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kauai community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kauai, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and urology.
