In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency medical care during 12-hour rotating day and night shifts. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Minimum of two years of recent practice in emergency medicine within the last three years
- Residency training in an accredited Emergency Medicine program
- Certification in ACLS and PALS
- Current, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
- Proven experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center and academic emergency medicine preferred
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience teaching residents and interns
- Publications or scholarly work in emergency medicine
- Membership in relevant specialty societies
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
- At least two years of full-time emergency medicine practice, including trauma and academic settings
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, with uncompensated meal breaks
- Valid certifications in ACLS and PALS
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
