Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our outpatient Wound Care Team.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient wound care services for chronic wounds to include diabetic and surgical wounds, pressure ulcers, arterial and vasculitic ulcers, and any other wound care or hyperbaric oxygen needs.
- Develop individualized wound care treatment plans.
- Oversee patients undergoing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
Job Eligibility Requirements
Education & Licensure
- Requires master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Board certified as a Physician Assistant.
- Active GA Physician Assistant license or meet criteria for obtaining licensure
- Certified Wound Specialist or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
Experience
- Prior nursing experience in wound care preferred.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
Schedule & Location:
- Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
- Position will be at Tanner Wound Care located adjacent to Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton.
