Position: Physician Assistant
Location: Vienna, VA 22180
Duration: ASAP - 06/30/26 (Possible extension)
Pay: $75/hr.
Setting: Primary care / Occupational health
Schedule:
Mon, Tues, Thurs: 8 AM - 04:30 PM
No weekends or on-call requirement
32 hours weekly
Overview:
Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of the physician.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
Records physical findings and formulates a plan and prognosis, based on the patient’s condition. Provides written home-going instructions.
Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
Refers patients to the physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience in primary care, urgent care, occupational health, or a similar setting is strongly desired
At least 1 year of Autonomous experience is preferred
Experience working within a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model is a plus
Experience using EPIC EMR is preferred
Phlebotomy skills are required
Active PA License in Virginia
Active BLS or be willing to obtain post offer
DEA preferred
