Healthcare United is seeking a full -time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a primary care opportunity in Largo, Florida. <\/p>
This is a full -time, outpatient -based position with a physician -founded, provider -focused medical group dedicated to delivering high -quality, cost -effective patient care. The incoming provider will join a supportive clinical environment designed to allow Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to focus on direct patient care, continuity of care, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine. <\/p>
The role is focused on managing a primarily adult patient population in a primary care setting. The provider will work as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary care team to evaluate patients, manage chronic conditions, support preventive health initiatives, and improve overall patient outcomes. <\/p>

Requirements<\/h3>
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant <\/span><\/li>
Active Florida license or ability to obtain Florida licensure prior to employment <\/span><\/li>
Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP or ANCC, with focus in adult medicine, family medicine, acute care, or gerontology <\/span><\/li>
Physician Assistant certification through an accredited PA certification program, preferably with adult medicine focus <\/span><\/li>
Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred <\/span><\/li>
Experience managing adult or geriatric patient populations strongly preferred <\/span><\/li>
Bilingual English and Spanish preferred <\/span><\/li>
DEA licensure or eligibility required <\/span><\/li>
CDS licensure required if applicable in the state of practice <\/span><\/li>
Current CPR certification required <\/span><\/li>
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required <\/span><\/li>
Experience with EMR systems required <\/span><\/li>
