Part Time Physician Assistant needed for South OKC Neurosurgeon

Physician Assistant (PA-C) will work closely with neurosurgeon Dr. Jeffrey Nees to provide comprehensive care to patients requiring spine evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities include:

  • New patient assessments, return visits, pre-operative and post-operative evaluations
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, medical management, wound assessment, patient education, and coordination of care with referring providers
  • The PA-C will support Dr. Nees in both clinical and hospital settings

Requirements:

  • Current PA license in State of Oklahoma with NCCPA Certification
  • Valid DEA and OBNDD or ability to obtain
  • Experience in neurosurgery, orthopedic spine, pain management, critical care or surgical specialty preferred
  • Strong diagnostic reasoning and ability to perform focused neurological exams
  • Experience with EMR systems and surgical workflow preferred.
