Opportunity

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking  full-time Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)—either Physician Assistants (PAs) or Nurse Practitioners (NPs)—to provide on-site primary care services for a healthcare system in Rosebud, South Dakota 57570.

Our client, provides comprehensive healthcare services to members of the Rosebud Sioux Reservation. The mission of the healthcare system is to deliver high-quality healthcare services that improve the health and well-being of the community.

This role provides direct patient care services in an outpatient primary care setting and works collaboratively with medical, nursing, and support staff to ensure quality healthcare delivery.

Position Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider will provide comprehensive outpatient medical care to adult and pediatric patients, including preventive services, chronic disease management, acute care treatment, health screenings, patient education, and care coordination. Services shall be performed in accordance with established clinical standards, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.

This is a non-personal services contract position, meaning the provider functions as an independent contractor and is responsible for managing their own professional practice while meeting all contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult and pediatric patients.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and preventive health screenings.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans consistent with evidence-based practice standards.
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with applicable regulations and credentialing privileges.
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary healthcare providers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
  • Report adverse events and patient safety concerns in accordance with facility policy.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, federal regulations, IHS policies, and facility credentialing requirements.
  • Participate in required meetings, trainings, and conference calls as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

Qualifications

Physician Assistant (PA)

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Current unrestricted state license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of South Dakota.

Nurse Practitioner (NP)

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of South Dakota.

All Candidates Must

  • Maintain active professional licensure and certification throughout the contract period.
  • Possess current DEA registration, if required by scope of practice.
  • Maintain professional malpractice insurance coverage.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in outpatient primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management.
  • Possess strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Successfully complete all credentialing, background screening, and facility onboarding requirements.

    Base Period: August 1, 2026 – October 31, 2026

    Option Periods:

    • November 1, 2026 – January 31, 2027
    • February 1, 2027 – April 30, 2027
    • May 1, 2027 – July 31, 2027
