Join the Providence ExpressCare Anchorage Alaska team as a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

As a Mission based community focused service, the clinics provide the perfect work-life balance with a 3-day week schedule. ExpressCare serves as a critical access point for the organization supporting overflow of patients from primary care, urgent care, and emergency departments. There is plenty of variety in their services which demand critical thinking and clinic-based procedures which providers interest in every day.

ExpressCare serves the purpose of providing access to communities both in person and virtually while also offering a more predictable day with a schedule of 30 twenty-minute appointments in a 12-hour period. Although this position offers autonomy in practice with a single provider model supported by a MA, there is a large support structure in place with a larger team connected virtually. Included in the generous compensation package is the potential for a productivity incentive.

Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine as well as have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and embrace the opportunities to respond to the need of the community as they arise. Where Youll Work ExpressCare is part of the Providence Clinical Network (PCN) which provides patients access to optimized ambulatory services with a consumer-centric connected focus. The Providence ExpressCare clinics are reducing barriers and creating a network of same-day care options that are easily accessible across the state of Alaska. By building out a network for ambulatory care across Providence, the PCN offers ease, transparency, and lower costs. This work is foundational to evolving the Providence delivery model to enhance the future of convenient care.
