Our client, a leading healthcare provider specializing in women’s health services, is hiring a Physician Assistant with an ObGyn focus to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients, including performing examinations, diagnosing conditions, and managing treatment plans.
  • Assist physicians with surgeries, procedures, and patient consultations.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care specific to women’s health.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings to uphold clinical excellence.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an Accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, or strong rotations in ObGyn during training.
  • Valid and current Physician Assistant license in New York state.
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Demonstrated competency in conducting pelvic exams, prenatal care, and managing gynecological conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • BLS and ACLS certification are required; additional obstetric-specific certifications are a plus.
  • Willingness to participate in occasional on-call duties and patient assessments outside regular hours.
