Essential Functions
Perform minimally invasive procedures such as Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Biopsies, Lumbar Puncture, Myelogram, Central Venous Access cases, Chest tubes
Evaluating new patients during consults
Rounding on patients post procedure
Work closely with IR Physicians to coordinate patient care
Body drain and chest tube management
Collaborate with various specialties within Health First Hospital System
Perform various Fluoroscopy studies such as Barium Swallow studies, Esophagrams, Upper GI studies, Small Bowel Follow Through, Cystogram
Schedule
Full time, M-F 8am to 5pm
Occasional weekend coverage in rotation
No nights or call

Qualifications
PA-C or APRN-C
Active or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
Current NCCPA Certification for PAs or ANCC Certification for APRNs
BLS and ACLS certification
Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Procedural experience a plus but not required
Ability to speak and understand the English language
Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis
