Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to provide locum coverage in Trauma Surgery. This position offers flexible scheduling with a focus on inpatient hospital coverage. Providers will work during scheduled shifts with no call requirements and are expected to deliver high-quality patient care within a fast-paced trauma surgery environment.
Schedule:
- Coverage Type: Inpatient
- Schedule: 3 days a week, flexible shift selection, 4 weeks per month
- Shift Times: 6:30 am – 4:30 pm
- Guaranteed Hours per Day: 8 hours
- Overtime Hours: 8 hours per day (pre-approval required by medical director)
- Provider Minimum Shifts: 12 days a month

Credentialing Requirements:
- Current CV with all hospital affiliations uploaded
- Active California License
- DEA License required
- Board Certification (BC) or truly BE only
- Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty; gaps >3 months must be explained
- Include current case logs for surgical specialties
Additional Details:
Providers will not be in the OR. Travel reimbursements are as follows:
- Not reimbursed: Mileage from home to departing airport and airport to home; ride share/taxi from home to airport and airport to home
- Reimbursed: Airport parking at departure; pre-approved rental car insurance; ride share/taxi from destination airport to hotel/lodging, hospital/clinic, and return trips
