Physician Assistant Inpatient Otolaryngology Westchester Medical CenterValhalla,NY Schedule:3 Shifts/Week (mixture of day and night shifts)a¯ Summary: The Department ofOtolaryngology, in collaboration with the Center for Advanced Practice, is excited to add a Physician Assistant (PA) totheir growing academic service.In this role,thePA will undergo training in all aspects of Otolaryngology, including,but not limited to,pediatric ENT, neurotology, laryngology, head neck cancer,rhinologyand skull-base surgery. This position is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the multifaceted Otolaryngology department. Respond to trauma activations in the Emergency Department, consultations throughout the inpatient service,and perform lifesaving procedures Be part of a supportive culture where PAs are integral to the team, not an afterthoughta¯ Qualifications: Candidates must be board certified as a Physician Assistant andpossess,or be able to obtain,a NewYork State PA License. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1-year experience, although highly motivated new graduates with interest and abilities in surgery will be considered and are encouraged to apply. Mustpossessexcellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
