Work alongside a supportive, professional staff in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills to treat adult and pediatric patients efficiently and compassionately.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 12 months of urgent or emergency care experience treating both adults and pediatrics (6 months+).
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system and ability to independently manage all patient care.
- Strong clinical skills, including performing procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation, and other minor interventions.
- Excellent soft skills for effective communication with patients, families, and support staff.
- Board certification or eligibility via NCCPA for Physician Assistants, Family Nurse Practitioner certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), and NC DEA license.
- Ability to work independently as the sole provider at designated centers.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working in urgent care or emergency settings with high patient volume.
- Experience with Medicare enrollment and credentialing processes.
- Comfort with using EMR systems beyond Epic, or experience in multi-site support.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program.
- Board certification in emergency medicine, urgent care, or a related specialty.
- Proven track record working in fast-paced environments with diverse patient demographics.
Other Requirements:
- Must be local to the supported locations; travel reimbursement is limited to up to 60 miles round-trip from your residence.
- Availability to participate in required onboarding, onboarding training scheduled on specific Wednesdays, and shift coverage on agreed dates.
