We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Emergency Medicine to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Required Skills:
- NCCPA Certification
- NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
- Proficient in EMR systems, specifically Meditech 6.1
- Ability to manage a high-volume patient load effectively
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in Emergency Medicine
- Bilingual capabilities
- Familiarity with hospital-based ICU procedures
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies
- At least 2 years of experience working in emergency or acute care settings
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high-stakes clinical environment efficiently
Other Requirements:
- Availability for open shifts on July 1, July 2, and July 6, from 12 PM to 12 AM
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, managing approximately 18-20 patients per shift
- Housing provided in hospital-owned apartments
- Travel reimbursement capped at $500
- Hourly pay rate of $1.00
