Job Summary
Baptist Health System and Tenet Healthcare are seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established CT Surgery team in San Antonio, TX. This role is an integral part of the cardiothoracic service line and will support patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position is designed for an APP who enjoys continuity of care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary surgical team, and meaningful involvement in the perioperative patient journey without serving in a first assist capacity.
Position Highlights
Full-time opportunity supporting a busy Cardiothoracic Surgery team
Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Focus on preoperative, postoperative, and ongoing patient management
No first assist or primary OR responsibilities
Collaborative team environment with strong APP integration
Monday through Friday schedule aligned with standard business hours
