- Shift: Day shift (7:30am–4:00pm) and 24-hour call shifts (6:00pm–7:00am)
- Hours/Week: 40 hours; OT paid after 8 hours per day

- License/Certs: Active CA license; DEA required; Board Certified in relevant specialty
- Experience: Prior cardiovascular/post-op inpatient and surgical assisting experience desired

What You’ll Do:
- Rounding on post-op inpatients in the cardiovascular unit
- First assisting in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
- Seeing patients in outpatient clinics for follow-up and assessments
- Interpreting ECGs, X-rays, labs, and managing ECMO, IABP, and Impella devices
- Supporting procedures like endoscopic and radial artery harvesting
- Providing coverage during scheduled shifts and on-call periods as required
What You Need:
- Active California PA license, DEA certification, and BC in relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgical experience preferred
- Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests and managing complex cardiac devices
- Strong clinical skills, flexibility with schedule, and team-oriented attitude
