Are you a dedicated Physician Assistant seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery? Required Skills:
Proven experience assisting in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and open-heart surgeries
Demonstrated ability to perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) independently
Proficiency in valve repair/replacement procedures
Experience with sternotomy closure, chest tube placement, arterial/venous sheath insertion, and central venous access
Strong knowledge of critical care management in CV ICU settings
Ability to handle pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Familiarity with Impella support and other advanced circulatory devices
Excellent clinical judgment, technical skills, and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills:
Exposure to peripheral vascular interventions such as SFA procedures
Experience with endoscopic radial artery harvesting
Knowledge of using EVH for vein harvesting in thoracic or vascular surgeries
Willingness to participate in interdisciplinary team coordination and continuous education
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certification as a Physician Assistant from accredited programs
Prior experience within cardiovascular or thoracic surgical settings
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role preferred
Other Requirements:
Valid licensure and certification to practice as a Physician Assistant
Ability to work flexible hours, including potential on-call shifts
Travel reimbursements and related expenses covered as applicable
Commitment to maintaining up-to-date licensure and certifications
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
