Overview
We are seeking qualified Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to deliver comprehensive adult primary care in a clinic setting from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Starting May 28, 2026, this position offers a dynamic work environment with the chance to collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting. The role requires coordination with the Glendale County Medical Board (GCMB) to finalize protocol agreements and Epic EMR training, which occurs biweekly from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., following credentialing.
Required Skills
- Valid and current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state
- Current certifications (e.g., NCCPA for PA, AANP or ANCC for NP)
- Proven experience in adult primary care or outpatient clinical settings
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), specifically Epic (training provided)
- Ability to complete protocol agreements with relevant medical boards
Nice to Have Skills
- Bilingual proficiency
- Prior experience working in community health or underserved populations
- Certification in additional specialties or areas of interest
- BLS/ACLS certification
Preferred Education and Experience
- Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing (MSN or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of primary care or outpatient clinical experience
- Familiarity with clinic workflows and EMR systems, especially Epic
Other Requirements
- Willingness to attend Epic EMR training sessions after credentialing
- Ability to travel for additional training or activities if necessary
