Pay: $77.26/hour
Schedule: Approximately 38 hours per week, including every other weekend & possible holiday rotations

Overview

We are hiring a Physician Assistant in San Antonio, TX for a clinic opportunity. This is a patient-facing contract role for an experienced provider who is comfortable delivering evidence-based primary and family care in a retail clinic setting. The Physician Assistant will work closely with a dedicated clinical care team to support positive patient outcomes through assessment, treatment, education, and ongoing care coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care to patients
• Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and disposition planning
• Conduct routine exams and evaluate patients for common illnesses, injuries, and preventive care needs
• Counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices, wellness, and chronic condition management
• Complete clinic administrative duties, including opening and closing, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Completion of a Physician Assistant program & National Board Certification
• Active state license to practice as a Physician Assistant
• 1 year of recent primary care experience as a PA in family medicine or primary care
• Experience in retail clinic, urgent care, or primary care environments
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
