Summary
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program EDRP, a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval award amount up to $200,000 & eligibility period one to five years are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

Duties
Help This is an open continuous announcement for a full-time Anesthesiologist. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and qualified candidates will be considered until the vacancy is filled. The anesthesiologist is board-certified by the ABA and is charged with delivering anesthesia care to our Veterans Active Duty Personnel and their dependents. This care must be delivered in accordance with hospital policy and must meet community standards. This position performs pre-operative and pre-procedural anesthetic risk assessment. Evaluation includes obtaining relevant history, performing physical exam, reviewing vital signs, lab values, and all other relevant diagnostic studies prior to surgery. Appropriate notes are written in the patients medical record.
