Job Description
Therapy Partners of North Texas is looking for a part-time/PRN physical therapist technician. This is a fun and dynamic position, ideal for someone looking to go to a graduate program in physical therapy. If you love exercise and working with people, this position is for you. You will assist the physical therapists by:
- Bringing patients from the lobby to the treatment area upon arrival
- Set patients up on heat/bike/whatever modality they typically start with
- Helping patient with exercises
- Cleaning tables after each patient use
- Providing feedback and guidance
- Helping with answering phones and scheduling patients
Schedule:
- Flexible to accommodate school schedules
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a medical environment, ideally in a physical or occupational therapy department, is preferred
- Excellent customer service
- Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work
- Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Caring nature, with a genuine interest in helping people
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
